Journey (2021) is an animated short film about the struggles of defining home that followed my family for decades. The history of displacements in my family goes far back than her own journey. my great grandparents lost their home in Chechnya due to religious persecution and my grandparents lost their house in the Golan Heights to occupation. What I once thought of as a curse that followed my family for generations becomes a worthwhile Journey that paints who I am today.
